The 450FXL features a specially designed forestry track system by Komatsu with largest-in-class 9” pitch (228mm) track. Sturdier frames and thicker shoes dramatically improve stability and increases shoe life. Massive forestry final drives by Komatsu increase reliability

The upper base plate reinforcements enhance structural integrity, supporting the cab, engine and the special "450" heavy-duty set-back boom. The new boom is stronger to take on the most demanding jobs.
