Valmet’s new 450FXL adds to the legend of the world’s most popular and productive steep slope track feller-buncher and harvester brand. The new machine is sized for big jobs with excellent mobility, stability, and increased service life! Here are some of the main features:

The 450FXL features a specially designed forestry track system by Komatsu with largest-in-class 9” pitch (228mm) track. Sturdier frames and thicker shoes dramatically improve stability and increases shoe life. Massive forestry final drives by Komatsu increase reliability

The upper base plate reinforcements enhance structural integrity, supporting the cab, engine and the special "450" heavy-duty boom. The new boom is stronger to take on the most demanding jobs.

The 450FXL’s Komatsu-designed carbody features ‘next-size-up’ leveling components and added structure to withstand the stress of heavy forestry work. The larger leveler has 3.5” pins and tapered heavier "double-row" swing bearing with 60% more strength than single row designs.
